Opened in December 2017, Copper Cat Bookstore proudly holds the title of the only independent bookstore in Henderson, Nevada. On December 9, 2024, we celebrated seven wonderful years of stories, community, and the joy of reading.

We specialize in used books and carry a thoughtfully curated selection of new releases we think our readers will truly enjoy. You’ll also find a charming variety of gifts, reading accessories, and a few delightful surprises — music boxes, quirky pillows, a bit of jewelry… even the occasional oddity (because, well, I’m a bit odd, and I own it).

Whether you’re a lifelong reader, a casual browser, or just looking for a cozy spot with character, Copper Cat is here for you. Come in and find something unexpected.

Hours, Hospitality, and a Little Copper Cat Magic

Our regular hours are:
Tuesday–Saturday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday & Monday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Now, those are our published hours — but let’s be honest, we live in the Vegas Valley, and this is a 24/7 kind of town. So here’s our real policy:
If you’re here at closing time, we won’t ask you to leave.
If the lights are on and the door’s locked, knock. You just might get a private, after-hours shopping experience.

Let us be your personal book hunter! One of our free services is helping customers track down those “hard to find” or “wish I still had it” titles. Wendy lives for the thrill of the hunt — and she’ll bag that book like a pro.

If a book arrives and it’s not quite what you expected? We’ll handle the returns and hunt down a better replacement — no hassle, no charge. Just our way of making book shopping easier (and way more fun).
